On October 25, 2004, Shandong Liangshan Zhengyang Trailer Parts Co., Ltd. was established, launching the "Zhengyang" brand. The company's chairman, Li Guangjian, is responsible for sales.
In 2007, the company transformed from a pure sales enterprise into one integrating production and sales, and built a suspension workshop. In 2008, the company expanded its suspension workshop.
The office building and axle production workshop were constructed in 2011 and put into use in 2012.
In December 2013, the company was awarded the title of High-tech Enterprise in Jining City.
In November 2014, the company undertook the engineering technology research project for suspension systems of transportation vehicles in Jining City. In the same year, the company was rated as a national high-tech enterprise and invested in the construction of Jiushangkeyou stores, which began to operate in 2016.
In January 2016, the company was renamed Shandong Zhengyang Machinery Co., Ltd. In March of the same year, the company initiated the establishment of the Shandong Special Purpose Vehicle Intellectual Property Protection Alliance.
In January 2017, the company's trademark was awarded as a famous trademark in Shandong Province. In November of the same year, the company invested in the establishment of Shandong Zhengyang Technology Co., Ltd. On April 19, 2018, the foundation was laid, and construction officially began in July.
In August 2018, the company was awarded the title of "Contract-abiding and Trustworthy Enterprise" in Shandong Province. In September of the same year, Zhengyang Machinery was renamed Shandong Zhengyang Machinery Co., Ltd.
In May 2019, a technology research and development cooperation agreement was signed with Wuhan University of Technology. In July of the same year, the first phase of Zhengyang Technology's project was fully completed, and trial production began in early August.
On November 30, 2019, Shandong Zhengyang Group was established. In the same year, it was awarded as an advanced enterprise in green environmental protection, a product innovation enterprise, an advanced enterprise in export earnings, and the "May 1st" Labor Award in Liangshan County.
